"Free Shipping" applies for Basic Standard Delivery for orders sent to locations within the continental US. Method and applicability of "Free Shipping" is at the discretion of Centsible Sounds and may not be offered on certain Items. This offer applies only to physical U.S. delivery addresses in the Continental U.S. (Shipments to APOs, AEOs, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, other non-mainland U.S addresses, and international addresses are not eligible for free shipping.) In the event that an item is returned the actual shipping will not be refunded to the purchaser.
International shipping - Due to frequent issues with delivery delays and difficulty in customer support after the sale, Centsible Sounds NO LONGER will ship internationally.
All Packages must be inspected immediately upon receipt. All shipments leave us in new condition. Any damage , error, or defect must be reported within 24 hours of Receipt for replacement to be sent or credit to be given.
Packaging. Like many other companies these days, we are striving to be as "green" as possible. Therefore, you will not receive your instrument in a nice, fancy box with our logo on it. We will utilize any shipping materials that are available to safely protect your instrument while it is in transit. Not only is this environmentally responsible, this is another avenue that we utilize to minimize our overhead which helps us maintain our extremely low prices.
Shipping Damage:
If contents appear to have been damaged in shipping, leave them in the original packaging in as close to its original condition as possible, and contact the shipping company and Centsible Sounds immediately. NO claims for shipping damage will be honored if made more than 24 hours after receipt and/or if original packaging has been altered or discarded. Centsible Sounds can not be responsible for a *sound post or **bridge falling during shipment nor will this be considered Shipping Damage.
All Claims for shipping damage are void unless the above procedures are followed.
Any error in shipping of defective merchandise must be reported to Centsible Sounds within 24 hours of receipt. Any defect found to have been caused by shipping will not be covered if not reported as detailed above.
Defective Items:
Every item that we sell meets the manufacturer’s standard for quality and performance. Many of the items we sell require special care because of the materials they are made from. It is our experience that manufacturer defects should be noticeable within the first 30 days of ownership.
Centsible Sounds abides by each individual manufacturer's return policy for defective merchandise. We will work with the customer to facilitate the return, repair, or replacement of defective merchandise as per the manufacturer’s requirements. Repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer of the merchandise.
Returns:
Call to receive return authorization before returning any merchandise. The original invoice number must accompany all returns. Pack returned items carefully to avoid damage. All returned items must be Insured for their Retail value. No credit will be given for items lost or damaged in return shipping. Failure to follow this procedure will result in delayed or denied claims for reimbursement. Any returns due to anything other than warranty issues may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Orders may be paid for using the following methods:
VISA, MasterCard and PayPal. In addition to credit cards, for phone or mail orders you may pay by Postal Money Order, Certified Cashier's check or personal checks by mail. All non-credit-card orders may be subject to a 10-business-day hold.

*If the sound post (wooden dowel inside some stringed instruments) is knocked down due to jarring in shipment this is not covered by shipping insurance. It would be your responsibility to have it stood back up. It only takes a few minutes to stand a sound post or it is very inexpensive should you choose to have the procedure completed at the local shop.
**If the Bridge (wooden stringed support at lower end of instrument) on a Violin, Viola or Cello falls during shipment this is not covered by shipping insurance. It wouuld be your responsibilty to have it stood back up. It only takes a few minutes to install a bridge or it is very inexpensive should you choose to have the procedure performed at a local shop.
