Consignment 

Instrument

Centsible Sounds is pleased to offer a Consignment service for our previous Customers.  The Instrument must be in excellent playable condition with no missing parts or pieces and no damage that would compromise the integrity of the instrument.  Instruments will receive a cursory inspection at the time of consigment, however Centsible Sounds will not be held responsible for any damage or sound degradation not found during the inspection.     

Pricing

All Items will be consigned for a maximum of 90 days which will commence upon the date the item is listed on our website.  The Instrument will be priced according to our knowledge of the market and what we feel the instrument is worth (this will be discussed with the owner prior to accepting the instrument for consignment). 

Instruments not sold will be marked down 10% after 30 days, an additional 10% after 45 days and an additional 10% after 60 days during the 90 day consignment contract period.  After 90 days Centsible Sounds will ship the Instrument back to the Consignor.  The Consignor is responsible for all Shipping costs and this must be made prior to return shipping.  If the return shipping amount has not been received by Centsible Sounds by the time the item has been in our Shop for 100 days then the instrument becomes the property of Centsible Sounds. 

Payment

The Consignor will receive 75% of the Sale price of the Instrument.   Payments for consignments sold are mailed out on the 15th of each month following the sale of the item.
